Daniel Tamunosiki Iyango Email and Phone Number
I am a graduate of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering with a special interest in Drilling and Well Engineering. I aspire to become a Professional Directional Driller in 5 to 10 years. The vast nature of the Petroleum industry fascinates me and I love connecting with people from different career backgrounds and cultures. My choice to study petroleum engineering is greatly influenced by growing up in Port Harcourt which is the hub of oil and gas in Nigeria. I got to see lots of industry machinery and personnel, and over time I became so inquisitive and fond of the Petroleum industry. That was how my passion for Petroleum Engineering was born. I choose The University of Port Harcourt because that is where most of my mentors and industry experts studied. I also wanted to pass through an academic system that had produced highflyers. Currently, I am a Trainee Field Engineer (MWD Measurement While Drilling) with a leading indigenous Drilling company, which for me is a dream come true.As a Field Engineer (MWD Trainee) I have been able to demonstrate technical capabilities via independently running shifts effectively. Certain qualities that distinguish me are my dedication to work and my ability to learn fast. I have also developed the technical aptitude, training, and expertise that make me a key player in any team I work with.Monitoring product quality, updating records, and enforcing safety and environmental policies are just a few of the tasks at which I excel. My strength lies in executing operational tasks according to laid down procedures and in the course of carrying out my job I have developed practical skills and dexterity, good eye-hand coordination, physical fitness, problem-solving abilities, and troubleshooting skills. Due to the critical nature of the drilling industry, I have learned to be detail-oriented and pay good attention to safety and teamwork. Furthermore, my excellent communication, time management, and leadership talents are sure to always distinguish me.I have recently developed a passion for data science and machine learning because I see vast opportunities in their application in the drilling industry. So, I dedicate my spare time to learning data science and machine learning.I have not only excelled in the drilling industry but engineering in general because of the skillset I have acquired over time. I am eager to hear about potential career opportunities, so I would be pleased to chat about job openings in the engineering sphere.
