Still, I couldn't help myself from it.- Struck up a deal with Panera to deliver free bread to the homeless, only to find out that they didn't want free food and water.- Gave golden advice to 4 companies paying me 6 figures, only to find out that they didn't get the bigger picture.- Put my neck out because I saw what my friends could become if they just followed simple steps, only to be pushed away.Yet I thank all of these people, they have taught me something truly valuable. I was prideful and arrogant to think that I was the solution when it was 100% on them to be the solution. They didn't need sustenance, they didn't need a good strategy, they didn't even need a simple roadmap to success, they needed to be heard, a shoulder to lean on, and the power to make their own choices. I am truly grateful for this lesson about people. We are who we choose to be and any effort outside of that is a waste of time.Now, I only work with people who WANT sustenance, a shoulder to lean on, and a road map to success. People I like, trust, and who want to be helped. If it's not interesting or truly impactful for you I don't touch it.
