I'm the founder and director of Beak Brewery in Lewes, East Sussex, which exports to 30 countries worldwide and produces in excess of 700,000 pints of beautiful beer annually. I'm also in the throes of launching a venture, BEAK MRKT, which will see a central Brighton warehouse transformed into a 5,000 square foot taproom-come-food-hall.

I write about food and drink for a range of national magazines and newspapers, including the Guardian, Telegraph, Independent, Vice, Delicious Magazine and Market Life, the latter of whom I write a regular column for. I also have extensive experience as a commissioning editor and am regularly asked to oversee client-led projects for the likes of Waitrose, John Lewis, Borough Market, Land Rover, Marks & Spencer, Selfridges and Channel4. In 2015 I was shortlisted as Young Beer Writer of the Year by the Guild of Beer Writers. And in 2016 was runner-up Drinks Writer of the Year at the Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards. In 2015, I launched The Beak Brewery, currently one of the highest rated breweries in the UK.

Commissioned by Channel 4 as a journalist and food consultant to identify and research a range of food and drink-related news stories for Tricks of the Restaurant Trade. I unearthed 20 stories that formed the backbone of series two. I was later commissioned by ITN productions to research a food-related episode of Channel 4's award-winning current affairs strand Dispatches.
