Tarpey, CFA – Wealth Management Advisor and Senior Portfolio Manager joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2012. Dan is responsible for helping families and business owners uncover and address their asset, liquidity, and liability management needs. Dan received his BS in Finance from Fordham University in 2007. Prior to joining Merrill, he was a Vice President with MBIA in the Insured Portfolio Management division. Dan is a Senior Portfolio Manager who can help clients pursue their objectives by managing on a discretionary basis his own Personalized or Defined Strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies. A Senior Portfolio Manager may make their strategies available to clients working with other Merrill Advisors. Dan also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He is a regular member of the CFA® Institute® and Stamford CFA® Society. *Chartered Financial Analyst® and CFA® are registered trademarks of the CFA Institute.
