As Executive Director of the Neighbourhood Food Project, I spearhead our mission to build a resilient and equitable neighbourhood-level food system. Championing food justice, fostering sustainability and building community.From strategic planning to hands-on operations, I have the privilege of leading our small but dedicated team in creating lasting impact in the communities we work with. Our primary initiatives are the Leslieville Farmers' Market, the Neighbourhood Food Hub Initiative at Glen Rhodes Campus, the Greenbelt Farmers' Market Network and the East End Night Market.

Lead on project and partnership development. Food systems planning consulting focusing on connecting sustainable agriculture, urban planning and community development. Working with private and public clients from universities, developers and local government we build food projects that meet objectives as big as climate mitigation and local food supply capacity-building to neighbourhood community projects such as community gardens and farmers' markets.

In charge of fundraising, partnerships and project development. Greenbelt Markets supports a network of over 100 farmers' markets across Southern Ontario and helps connect local farmers in the Greenbelt surrounding the Greater Toronto Area with economic opportunities in urban communities. We advocate for municipal governance that helps support local farmers' and farmers' markets, conduct research projects and commission studies and host an annual conference for local food organizers.

A premier green roof and social hub on top of the Big Carrot in Toronto's East End. In charge or programming and outreach, the goal of the position was to establish the 'CGR' a showcase of advanced green roof technologies and social innovation

The Carrot Cache is a funding organization with the goal of funding urban and organic agriculture in Canada. The short-term contract was to create a database of all funding recipients in order to establish trends and better use of the organizations contacts. The goal was to better visualize the network that was being created through funding goals.

The Carrot Green Roof is a premier green roof and social enterprise in the Riverdale neighbourhood of Toronto. Running education programs as well as being a host to prestigious environmental networking events. In my position I was responsible for running the Green Roof Office as well as organizing and facilitating networking and the gathering of green roof and environmental professionals in Toronto. I expanded and created a network of environmentalists, professionals and educators to support the Carrot Green Roof in the future.

Hugh Garner Housing Co-op boasts the largest residential green roof in North America. With funding from multiple organizations the amount of money raised by a social group was staggering. As a Community Animator I created and ran programs that focused on educating the members of the Co-op on the benefits of the Green Roof as well as a new, slightly invasive energy retrofit that was key to modernizing the housing development. Programs resulted in public forums on green initiatives in the Co-op as well as an increase in waste diversion, resulting in more garbage being recycled instead of ending up in the landfill.
