Responsible for the 3 year business plan of the L3Harris Airline Academy business unit which trains commercial pilots for major airlines. Key accountabilities include:• Developing the transformation growth strategy for increasing training capacity by 25% in 2018/19 including placing a 240 aircraft order, opening new facility in the UK, integrating new facility in Portugal and procuring surge capacity at other external academies.• Creating communication material and delivering presentations to sell the business plan across the business unit• Created and lead a new team of analysts and planners responsible for over 500 individual customer training schedules. Transformed planning function with the integration of IT planning systems and development of new processes.• Ensuring implementation of the business plan by producing regular reports with tracking metrics covering all areas of the business including market share, operational performance, revenue, cost, aircraft utilization and instructor productivity. • Leading fast, complex analysis of key strategic decisions including potential new business, pricing, product development and more recently the response to the market collapse of the demand for pilot training.
