I am a 21 year old who is currently looking for some part time sports journalism work to go alongside my current role as a groundworker at BM Construction Liverpool where i have been for coming up to 3 years. I started with no experience and only part time as I completed my media, broadcasting and journalism course at the City of Liverpool college which I then completed achieving my set goals. The main area that the course covered was the media side of things but taught me a great deal of the area I was always and still am most interested in which was the journalism. During my time in college I was taught a variety of skills which I would need in any pathway of work I then chose to pursue in that field. I was taught how to edit videos to the highest standard which I would then go on to further my skills on during work experience that I would find at The Redmen TV. I spent 6 months here where I would help the running of a fantastic YouTube channel and be part of some fantastic shows and series that were being created and developed during my time.From my time at college and on my work experience I gained valuable knowledge on software such as the Adobe collection which was typically the standard editing system that was used. Being able to use Adobe Premiere Pro was part of the reason that I was then listed in the credits of a 3 part docu-series on The Redmen TV's YouTube and also their own subscription service.During my time at The Redmen TV I was offered a part time role working as a groundworker with BM Construction Liverpool which is a position that I would then go onto fulfil full time upon the end of my college course. I am still at BM Construction and I am now more confident working with different materials and doing different jobs within my select team. As a part of Liverpool's number one resin installers I am becoming increasingly confident installing resin driveways, pathways and patios.
