Hardware lead for team, designing cabinet layout, assisting with controls hardware selection, creation of control wiring diagrams, bill of material creation, engineering change documentation and archival for automated test equipment for aircraft TRAS (thrust reverser actuation systems). Brand new, custom test equipment was designed from scratch for testing TRAS parts manufactured by Woodward prior to shipment to customers. Installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of 5 identical new systems and support for production as systems were handed over to operations.Also created a Simulink model of the new test system and hydraulic power unit (HPU), using Matlab's Simscape with hydraulics package. The model was used to aid with hardware selection, determine system limits and stability, as well as to facilitate software code development and testing prior to installation on the actual hardware.
