As an SME Accounts Manager I develop, manage, and grow the SME (small to medium enterprise) business portfolio of fleet account customers, based in the south of England and south Wales. In this role, I develop key relationships with customers to build confidence in the SME proposition, increase market share, and promote Kwik Fit within the industry.

South West

As a Key Account Field Manager, my position involves site based and regional office support to HSS's biggest Key Account customers. I combine operational and practical knowledge with an absolute commitment to customer services; in order to drive further growth and maximize all profitable opportunities. My aim is to deliver a smooth hire experience for all my customers through developing a thorough understanding of local site requirements, whilst working closely with other sales and operational colleagues.I guarantee that all of my HSS customers, are aware of the solutions available to them from traditional hire to training opportunities. I also demonstrate the abilities of the entire HSS group including; A-Bird power solutions, UK Platforms - powered access, Reintec cleaning solutions, TecServe maintenance, One Call procurement services & and HSS Training.

In this role I act as a contact between HSS and the customer. I manage a portfolio of accounts and maintain good relationships via meetings, telephone calls and emails. This position also includes visiting potential customers to prospect for new business by gaining a clear understanding of their requirements and then making accurate, rapid cost calculations to provide quotations; negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing the sales.

Redruth

Selling the hire of small tools, powered access, generators, plant machinery, training courses and promoting HSS owned companies such as aBird, Reintec and UK Platforms. Maintaining good relationships with account customers and monitoring their accounts.Building a good rapport with new customers and generating the lead for the area sales consultant to follow up.

Responding to particular 999 ambulance emergencies in the local community, as a CFR I am trained to deliver life-saving skills such as the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), airway management and oxygen therapy, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Being able to react in a local area I am able to arrive at a scene, assess the patient before an ambulance gets there and if necessary, provide life-saving medical treatment earlier.

Working on the bank for the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, covering 40 hours a week. Already a qualified (IHCD) First Responder with extensive FPOS (First Person on Scene) experience through the Fire Service and South West Ambulance Service I utilised these skills within the hospital.During this time, I also completed a twelve month course achieving a Diploma in Nursing at distinction level to improve my prospects.

Held positions of increasing leadership responsibility with eleven years experience of managing manpower, emergency situations and aircraft movements. As a fire crew manager I would lead an immediate reaction fire crew, in providing 24 hour cover to a busy Royal Naval Airfield and surrounding area. I would direct subordinates to ensure vehicles and life saving equipment were ready for operations whilst ensuring the Health, Safety and Professional development of personnel in my care. As an aircraft director, supervising a movement’s team I would marshal and lead the personnel to manoeuvre rotary and fixed wing aircraft on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. Continually deployed at short notice I completed various operations in theatre including Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan.
