Programme Leader
CurrentAs the programme leader most recently for levels one to six for my area I am responsible for the delivery and quality management of the staff and students in my care, as well as my own teaching and course management responsibilities. Since the merger of campuses between that of Trafford College and Stockport College in 2018 I have continued to work across sites to harmonise the delivery and quality assurance models as well as continue to develop excellent practice to meet the high standards set by myself and the area in which I work in. I have had the responsibility for the quality assurance processes with demonstratable levels of achievement across all areas. Working with applicable awarding bodies and stakeholders to meet high standards set upon us and applying these processes throughout the year. This includes reviewing and amending needs where appropriate to provide the highest quality throughout each academic year. Most recently updating provision for our joint entry and level one learners adopting a more up to date curriculum meeting local needs, this is now to be rolled out a multiple campus. I have direct responsibilities in leading the Course Performance Review process to bring about a reversal in failing standards as identified by our internal quality policies. This involves meeting with the applicable management structure to apply improvements where needed to enhance the experience of the learners and reach better outcomes set out in the initial review using Key Performance Indicator’s for reference.
