Performed specialty testing such as grease and fuel analysis. Also helped maintain equipment, train employees, work on ISO certification, and manage six technicians.

Worked in a laboratory determining contamination and degradation in oil samples using Wet Chemistry, Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, and other techniques.

Used software based on ArcGIS and a Trimble GPS to map power lines and other electric utility equipment. Worked on my own most of the time requiring me to be self motivated while moving through often rough terrain. Interacted with the public on a daily basis when I needed to access private property. Ended as Field Coordinator for project in Washington where I supervised two technicians. Received multiple QTC awards for safety, productivity, and quality of work.
