I was responsible for over $50 million in total value of goods shipped and was able to reduce shipping costs by over 33% by developing a competitive bidding process for brokers. While ensuring material was cut and shipped to meet or exceed the customer's purchase order due date, I implemented a perpetual inventory method along with a selective inventory control daily report to ensure an up-to-date inventory for the sales team.
