My name is Dan thompson, soon to be a graduate of Marist College. I have a keen interest in the legal industry and a focus to continue following that path with plans to go to law school. I have experience as an intern at both a mitigation firm and a district prosecuting office where I was constantly involved in legal dealings and expanded my portfolio greatly. For several years I have worked at Whaler's Cove Yacht Club, a marina where I learned how to work in the service industry and speak professionally with clients and members.I was a criminal justice major at Marist College, with most of the classes I had taken being a legal focus. My preferred field, is court related to criminal justice, with a strong focus on litigation and case law pertaining to such. I hope to put all I've learned to the test in a proper work environment, beyond and including my two internships.My main hobby is travel. having visited most of Europe, America, the Caribbean islands, and some of South America, I consider myself very well-traveled and have vast experiences immersing myself in other cultures and new locations.Former member of the YMCA's leaders program, 2019 deans list at Marist collage, and recipient of the JOSEPH A.
