I have worked in the water and wastewater industry through AMP 4, AMP 5 and AMP 6. My experience is across several areas of the water business including wastewater treatment, stormwater pumping stations, SEMD (Security of Supply), aqueducts, long sea outfalls, service reservoirs and my main passion impounding reservoirs. I spent the first 7 years of my career working in the design office with some on-site supervision. I am a Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE) by trade and my design experience lies within impounding reservoirs, however; I have utilised this experience across different aspects of the water industry through the years. As a designer, I have worked on several multi-million-pound remedial schemes in the interests of safety (ITIOS) and I have worked on discontinuances in line with the reservoirs Act 1975. More recently, I have been the Client Construction Supervisor under NEC3 on varying AMP 6 projects. I have a strong technical backing in all aspects of the water industry and have a track record of delivering projects from £200k - £110million. I have an extension appreciation of not only construction aspects of a project, but also the design elements, which I have gained through being a Civil Engineer. Furthermore, I have extensive knowledge of the construction industry and experience of leading, managing, supervising others within the industry to ensure that Quality, H&S and environmental standards are met. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with Panel Engineers under the Reservoirs Act 1975 and I am currently training to become a Supervising Engineer under the Reservoir Act 1975.
