After successfully leading the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations in the Americas Business Unit for 2 years, I was promoted to the position of Global Director of Operation Excellence responsible for developing and implementing Operational Excellence throughout the global corporation. This new position was created to take what had been successfully deployed in the Americas and generate the same results globally. These programs focused on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma and Strategic Supplier Sourcing and impacted every functional area within the organization. Developed a Global deployment roadmap by assessing our Global Operations. Led the Senior Executive Team to develop a global strategy for Industrial Scientific for achieving business excellence. These efforts saved Industrial Scientific millions of dollars globally each year. Facilitated projects at the highest levels within the corporation to achieve strategic business initiatives. Established corporate standards for achieving operational excellence in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, New Product Development, Research and Development and Service Operations. Led the development of corporate training programs for Lean, Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma. I personally created and presented many of these training programs throughout the company. Led global Kaizen Events which were 1 week focused events where we completed 3 Lean and/or Six Sigma projects in 4-5 days with each project showing dramatic savings in cost, quality and lead time reduction.
