I am currently working as a Guest Advisor Leader on Duty at Petco. My role is primarily to work with customers to make sure they have the knowledge they need to make a purchase on a product or to safely and successfully care for a new animal. It is my job to make sure that operations in the store are smooth. That can mean making sure our employees know what their daily tasks are, dealing with difficult customers and helping the store stay on track with sales targets, stocking and organizing, and in-store animal care.

I worked as the Merchandising operations specialist at Petco until being promoted to my current position. My job as the MOS was to assist our Merchandising Operations Leader in inventory counts, stocking, and organization. I gained experience following planograms during resets, working on weekly inventory checks as well as simply getting to know the layout of the store and the product we carry.

I worked as the head tech in the tech shop of a local ski area. My job was primarily fixing, mounting, testing and tuning skis with some sales mixed in, selling both services and ski accessories. I completed certification testing through many different binding manufacturers to be sure that I was proficient in my knowledge of the bindings and could make sure that they were set up properly and safely for the customer.

Worked at the Fairholme store on Lake Crescent, a property run by Aramark within Olympic National Park, as an activities lead and general store worker. My job primarily consisted of selling and setting up canoe and kayak rentals, making sure waivers were filled out correctly and informing people on safety measures, rules and regulations around the lake as well as fun things to see or do on the lake. Alongside my job as an activities lead I was also working in the store itself selling supplies and souvenirs to visitors. I was required to have a great deal of knowledge about the park as a whole so as to better inform tourists of good destinations and to make their trip as better as a whole.

Worked as a sales person at my local Red Wing Shoe Store. My job was to sell boots and shoes to workers and the general public, keep the store clean, preform maintenance on boots when needed and take inventory on footwear on a regular basis. I also had the opportunity to work with larger companies to set up accounts for their employees and took AR payments when required.
