I started my career in the U.S. Air Force. The most important lesson learned during my 8 years of enlistment is that of stepping out of your comfort zone. Take that leap into the unknown. The skills you will learn, the people you meet and the growth you will see will shape the rest of your life.The next 20+ years of my career have been spent in Mechanical engineering, purchasing, six sigma, value management and most recently design team leadership. All of the roles I have had have given the opportunity to grow and learn. Completing a Master of Science in Sustainable Management is the latest learning milestone in my life.
