As a student at Georgia Southern University, I was fortunate to work for Mock part-time before, between, and after classes at various projects on campus. Summer breaks were spent working on projects throughout Southeast Georgia and South Carolina. As a helper, I learned the basics of the plumbing trade digging ditches, fabricating hangers, cleaning fittings, and cutting pipe. I worked with others installing water, gas, compressed air, and waste and vent piping systems based on the project documents, mechanical coordination drawings, plumbing submittals, and site conditions. I assisted with layout for piping rough-ins that myself and team were to install, and was responsible for testing of systems after installation. Other experience includes plumbing fixture installation, water heater hook-up and installation, and some HVAC piping.
