After 13-years of experience in the food industry,I decided that it was time to capitalize on my proven success, expertise, and well-established industry reputation by going into business on my own. I started my career working for General Mills and Tia Maria Bakery in the early 2000s where I learned how to place products on the shelves for a variety of retailers and gained food production experience. I continued my career at Sherwood Foods as a Buyer. Soon after, I worked 2-year for Colorado Boxed Beef, where I mastered both areas of expertise, buying and selling commodities. This experience led me to a successful 8-year career with Signature Foods. At Signature I managed the procurement and sales department, further developed the Pick-5 business brand and expanded and grew the company’s IQF chicken product line, domestically and internationally. I became the most successful sales employee within Signature Foods.
