Daniel Tynes started dancing at the age of five. However, it wasn't until later in life that he made the connection between dance, and acting. Daniel is a "method" actor. When he finds a character that he identifies with he "becomes" that character. He uses wardrobe, music, and changes his routines to facilitate the mood of the character. Daniel mainly identifies with spies, Special Forces soldiers, and "hitmen" from film, such as "Tobyn Frost" (Denzel Washington in the "Equalizer",) "Joe" (Nicolas Cage in "Bangkok Dangerous",) and "Jason Bourne" (Matt Damon in the "Bourne" series.") Daniel's father trained him for Naval Special Warfare assessment & selection when Daniel attended high school. Using a combination of Ninjutsu, martial arts, gymnastics, and swimming, in addition to running, and advanced physical education, Daniel's Father turned him into a "Soldier," which is partially how he's able to identify with those types of characters in film. Furthermore, when asked why he identifies with those types of character he said that he identifies with feeling lonely, isloated from people, and the inability to trust people, like those characters. Daniel's "dream role(s)" is, are to play a hitman who struggles with his morality, depression, OCD, anxiety, and suicide,) a Special Forces soldier/operative, and an Entertainer who struggles with selling his soul for success. Daniel is currently working on an acting career. He will be joining the Ann Arbor Ring of Steel Action, Theatre, and Stunt Troupe in November, 2016. He can also be found dancing to "Michael Jackson" at the YMCA.
