About Daniel Ursu, Phd, Mms

I have always wanted to bridge the interface between medicine and engineering so that I could bring simple and sustainable engineering and clinical solutions to problems pertaining to local, global, and public health. Towards this goal, I combined medical education with mechanical engineering, focusing on medical robotics, human machine interaction, and smart prosthetic interfaces. I am a tinkerer and explorer at heart and wish to combine my passion for medicine and engineering by pursuing real-life interdisciplinary research in the fields of medical robotics, smart prosthetics, and human-machine interaction.
