As a Site Safety Supervisor at the Royal Air Force base in Marham UK I took care of the safety of the teams of mechanical engineers coming from USA to work for a couple of weeks or a few months in installing flight simulators, aircraft trainers, weapon loaders, UPS's, classrooms and data centers for the new F-35 Lightning II Fighting Jets. My duties started with doing the induction, presenting the RAMS, taking the new engineers coming from abroad in a tour of the building and doing a pre-briefing every morning where discussing the plan for the day with the teams. Once we got onto the site with everyone wearing the correct PPE I was in charge of evaluating the noise and vibration levels of the tools and if they are PAT tested. I was presenting weekly toolbox talks about subjects of safety that were under our close concern and inspecting the safety of our working environment, writing everything down and reporting the faults to the responsible person. In this certain role I had to always be with my team and know what they're doing so I was always the first one in and escorting everyone in and out after which locking up and handing over the keys. It was a lot more to this job as I sometimes helped with cutting wholes thru the fire walls and detailing, taking pictures and filing all the documents down for it or operating the telehandler or slinging or giving first aid, but as an overall we always had good grades from the H&S Executive Executive, no major incident and we finished the project safely and in time.

As a Slinger Signaller at MCarthy and Stone site in Norwich I had the opportunity to work in a nice team building retirement homes and lifting very basic materials like bricks, block, cement, timber, scaffold, and roof tiles. It is always a pleasure to work on an organised site and it impressed me the simplicity that I have found in this system of work. When it comes to lifting operations there is always a lot of responsibility concerning the weight of the load and the traveling route and plenty of hazards but we managed all that with no incidents and got near to the end of the job now.During this job I have also driven the JCB 540 for a couple of days when I was asked to as well.

As a Plant Operator in BWSC Snetterton construction site I've mostly been Telehandler Driver and a Slinger, unloading and loading lorries, undertaking pick and carry duties, slinging loads taking care that the deliveries are in good condition, also unloading new plants, doing all the checks on them, making sure they're in perfect working condition signing for them and reporting everything to the management. As the principal Telehandler Driver had to take care of the traffic in the site, pedestrian footpaths, signs, extinguishers, keeping the site tidy, keeping the access roads clear for everyone to get to their compound or workplace in effective time. My responsibilities were also in the plumbing domain. To keep all the water supply system in good working condition, as well as the drainage, to pump out the pits and the manholes on site after heavy rains. I took care of the skips, report to management when they get close to the full limit, Diesel supply as well. Plus taking all the parcels from the gate and delivering them to the right person, organizing the lay-down area and effectively communicating through the radio with the colleagues in busy times to get all the jobs done properly.

On this job I was Telehandler Operator and Labourer also, I had to carry out daily checks, weekly checks and maintain the plant in good order condition, write down any damages and report them to the head office. The job was mainly to keep the site tidy and to unload trucks with differend matterials.

As a Line Leader at Bernard Matthews I was in charge of making sure all the mixes are done correctly, checking the meat, the labels, powders, times ans saving all the information about each product in the computer system, also reporting for the next shift at the end of every day and just always work clean, tidy and very safe handling meat pallet trucks and operating mixers, cooking lines and and other industrial machinery for meat preparation. It was a multicultural environment in which I fitted very good and at the targets were reached daily.

I had to drive Tractors and Telehandlers in the farm and iside the green houses. Also get the products safe to the pack house with the trailer.

In this role I was a plumber for a furniture company. I learn this trade since I was a kid from my dad that is a plumber too and I have got my qualifications as well since my high-school. It is somehow my passion I could say so I do bits all the time but at this certain role I had to install new sinks, toilets, taps, and also help with fitting them into the furniture. On the other side I've installed a few heating and filtering systems with everything that was needed, starting with the boiler and heaters up to water pumps and filters for pools and wells.

On this job my responsibilities were to load and unload trucks with cellulose and to make sure they are put in order in the warehouse. Also to maintain the machines in proper condition for work.Also slinging different types of structures to unload them off the lorries giving toolbox talk to my team and ensuring everybody understands the plan for the day.
