Work closely with the Tech Lead/Project Manager to refactor and redesign API’s from Visual Basic to .NET 5. This includes taking into consideration not only the code but also its architecture and optimizations as well. Alongside API’s I’ve also implemented a completely on-premise web-application to view and create forms online. This is important because beforehand teachers, employees and students were doing everything on paper. My biggest achievement at ITS was implementing an OpenIdConnect/ OAuth2 Authentication and Authorization server.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

Led the development of an adult education web application named “BluAppl”, for Miami-Dade Public Schools. This application has received district, state, and federal acclaim for guiding instruction in the classroom. It is currently being maintained, with updates, since its first release in December 2018 and deployed to all 26 adult education centers within the district. This led to an easier way of creating curriculums by giving a more accurate analysis of student progress. Since this implementation, higher student enrollment was maintained, as well as high test scores, and adult program completion.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

Worked alongside the Lab Director to develop a web application that hosts a third-party application for analyzing and managing action units of a 3D character model. To showcase personality in these 3D models I used Google Speech API to implement speech recognition. Assisted in the design and development of a state-machine that controlled behavioral interactions and response given by a 3D model based on answers given in a questionnaire.
