I have been in warehousing/logistics for approximately 10 years. I started out as a receiving clerk at a small contracted warehouse in Wisconsin and worked my up over 6 years to management in that company. In 2015 I left that company to pursue a career as a Pipefitter. I worked with a shop for about year before moving to Florida and deciding to get back into warehousing/logistics. I have now been with Amazon in Lakeland, FL for 3 years. I started as a Tier 1 Outbound Dock Associate and Forklift (PIT) Operator and am now a Tier 3 Change Lead, formerly a Pack Singles PA. Over the years I have gained experience in shipping/receiving, production planning, process improvement, quality control, inventory control and team management. As an Outbound Pack PA, I managed the day-to-day operation of the Pack Singles department at my facility. I managed between 10 and 30 people on a daily basis, reporting to the Area Manager and Operations manager. As the Change Lead, I am the face of continual improvement not only within my building, but the ARNS network as a whole. I work in a team of 5 people within the ARNS network to drive continual improvement to processes within the buildings. This includes improving training methods, modifying processes and reporting to upper-level management with progress on a regular basis. I am working to develop myself both professionally and personally to reach the next level!
