Greenland

During my masters I have joined a PhD student's reaserch work with UAVs.We have joined the Dark Snow Project's 2015 field work and worked with Jason Box and Dr. Alun Hubbard. Early June we went to Greenland for 6 weeks with our built and tested UAVs to fly daily autonomous missions over the Greenland Ice Sheet. For the field work we took 6 X8 Skywalker UAVs (4 Electric and 2 Petrol powered). During this period we have flown over 1500+ km with 2 UAVs with an avaergae of 90km/mission. Our longest mission was 135km above the ice sheet with a single UAV. For this work I had to repair the UAVs on sight, plan, create and upload flight new plans to the auto pilot, and build and repair the damaged battery packs. During the fieldwork I have used two different data loggers (HOBOware and CS CampBell) with pyronometer probes to measure the ice surface solar reflectance and a temperature and humidity probe. To make them lighter for the flights, I had to resolder and rewire both data loggers and probes.

Budapest, Hungary

Centrum-lab is a medical lab in Budapest, Hungary.The company mainly focuses on looking and testing patients blood samples. The company operates on large scale, meaning that they get orders from all over the country. For this my job was to travel both the capital and the country to collect blood samples from hospitals and surgeries. Communication with the customers was important just as time management, as in most days, I had to be at 5-6 locations, all over the country.Also as part of the job was to create new routes for both myself and colleagues to make the routes more quicker and efficient. I had the same job in 2014 (June to August).

Hungary, Kelsztolc

Klastrom Lovarda is a horse stable in Hungary. I had to take care of the horses, while people were not riding them. This mean, feed, clean them and when people took them for a ride had to saddle them.I also had to take care of the horse stable itself. When something went wrong i had to fix it inside and outside.
