I was one of a select few of individuals that moved with the contract. At Sky I am the main point of contact for my agencies and have built strong relationships from Heads of TV / Online to Junior Buyers. Internally I provide input to setting policies and new practices, in order to ensure that revenue and value are maximised. -
Account Director VbsViacom 2004 - Dec 2009- During my time at Viacom we won several industry renowned awards. These included ‘Media Week Sales Team’ of the year in 2008 and 2009. ‘Media Campaign Sales Team’ of the year in 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Since its inception in 2001 revenue increased by 250%- My role at Viacom was to maximise revenue across any part of the business through all means.- I had my fair share of “Media Firsts” at VBS – These included: First Mobile advertiser (EA Games), First Nickelodeon VOD advertiser (Character options), First Nick Jr VOD advertiser (Tomy), First car advertiser on Nickelodeon (Skoda) and First “Force for good” advertiser (Met Police)The role at Viacom was similar to my present role, except in the sense that it was for a much smaller Sales House. As a result, winning such prestigious awards, whilst having a smaller presence within the market, was a truly remarkable achievement. A core role was the constant task of identifying and targeting potential new sources of revenue and in turn being able to convert them into VBS spenders (negotiating short term deals). Due to Viacom’s size, targets were volume driven and thus the company was very sales driven. -
