In collaboration with full-time staff and colleague Dougie Donaghy, we made significant contributions to the Westchester Soil and Water Conservation District and the Planting Westchester Initiative. Our efforts were focused on community outreach, site assessment and maintenance, and the development of educational and promotional resources.Key accomplishments include:• Assessing 18 Aquatic Restoration Project Sites• Developing 8 Aquatic Restoration Fact Sheets • Creating 4 Envirothon Study Guides• Designing 1 Enviroscape lesson plan for 2 models.• Producing 22 Community garden and Soil and Water Conservation District outreach videos for the WCDP social media pages. • Visiting 22 Community gardens.• Generating 18 additional community garden survey responses.• Creating 9 Planting Westchester StoryMaps.• Submiting a comprehensive final report.

Through the Young Voices of Science Program, I have worked on an outreach project consisting of a podcast and social media page to put science under a more human lens. Through the guidance of informative workshops by professionals in the science communication field, I've been able to create a project that encompasses the journey, purpose, and versatility of science.@sciencequilts

Worked alongside Legislator Catherine Parker for the 7th District of Westchester County to promote awareness about the local county government and environmental strides in policy.

During my Internship with Legislator Parker, I had the opportunity to work alongside Save the Sound to create videos on the science of water quality testing.

I learned the business side of the aquarium industry, husbandry skills, and large-scale maintenance and management.
