In the Chevron Technology Marketing department (TEMA), I provide process engineering support to create hydroprocessing technology Pre-FEED license packages for clients, either internal to Chevron or external companies. I have been a part of 12+ project teams responsible for generating engineering design packages spanning all Chevron hydroprocessing licenses (ISOCRACKING, ISOTREATING, HYDROFINISHING, LC-SLURRY, Residuum Hydrotreating). I have also contributed to multiple smaller studies and initiatives.In my role I: • Work in multi-discipline teams, with 2 to 12 core members, through 18 to 26 weeks of project design • Complete unit process modelling for new or revamp hydroprocessing design. • Provide pre-FEED equipment design for hydroprocessing units. • Iterate design work between expert reviews for optimization • Detailed review of design work as an individual and during group review meetings.Notable Work: • Volunteered to be an administrator for the internal department database (Siemens COMOS) • Lead initiative to work through a three year backlog of over 50 database corrections or improvements. • Completed the Chevron Data Science Development Program (2020). • Represented project process engineers in extended procedure update initiative. • Volunteered to be the intern mentor in the Summers of 2018 and 2019. • Hosted prospective employees and provided onboarding mentorship to 7 new employees (2019). • Updated Feed Filter Specification to align with technology availability through iterative discussion with vendors and experienced staff. • Completed the Chevron Technical University (CTU) for facilities engineers.

Significantly expedited column design and analysis by building an Excel tool with VBA code to automate data sorting, analysis, allowing effortless export to KG Tower. Created a standard template for reactor catalyst and internals performance monitoring toaid in unit transfer, unit comparison, and communication. Used as basis for all technical services representatives to client sites.Adapted a benchmarking tool to create a benchmark for five types of hydroprocessingtechnologies to aid in comparison, historical tracking, and proposal creation.Corrected and refined an excel tool to correctly model caustic flow stream properties.

Created isometric sketches and P&ID corrections during three month field pipe walk down at a complex Texas chemical plant.Validated alarm safeguards through process safety time consequence calculations to recommend upgrade to full control systems.Authored proof test procedures to audit independent protection layers in a complex Texas chemical plant.Update plant-wide PFDs for 50+ year old plant to include utility systems in Microsoft Vizio.Utilized HAZOP and LOPA techniques as a scribe in a two week, two unit Process Hazards Analysis for a major Californian oil refinery. Creation and organization of Process Safety Information (PSI) documentation to enhance efficiency in implementation and upkeep of process safety.

Analysis of railroad industry for future LNG application:Current and emerging technologies, regulatory and permitting, industry experience and current trials, LNG price cases and economics.
