After working for more than 20 years in a high tech environnement (aerospace industry & computational fluid dynamics) Daniel created PlasmaBiotics, a start-up located close to Paris.PlasmaBiotics is centered on the design, the development and the marketing of cold plasma equipment for medical devices disinfection.Daniel has served as the President and CEO of PlasmaBiotics since its inception, in March 2011, leading the development of the PlasmaBiotics line of products and raising foundings from the French Government and leading french investors.Specialist of Propulsion Systems for aerospace applications, Daniel Vinteler received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université Pierre et Marie Curie at Paris in 1996 where he performed research in simulation and modeling of multistage turbomachinery (compressors and turbines for jet engines) in collaboration with SNECMA. In his early career Daniel started as production engineer in helicopters manufacturing. Prior to joining PlasmaBiotics Daniel spent 14 years working for ESI Group a worldwide leader in numerical simulation where he was appointed Support Manager for the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) department. He was in charge of Pre and Post Sales Engineering including : application consulting, product training, product development and enhancement, product support, liaison between sales and fulfillment sides of the organization.Specialties: Technical support in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Pre-sales, Consulting, Quality control and software validation, Scientific software development, Manufacturing in aerospace industry.Innovative technologies evaluation, Market study, Strategic positioning, Business plan definition.Design, manufacturing and marketing of inovative medical devices for endoscopes reprocessing.

CeoPlasmabiotics Mar 2011 - PresentArgenteuil, Île-De-France, FrPlasmaBiotics was founded in Paris, France, as a young and innovative company specialized in the drying and storage of endoscopes. Its core products: the PlasmaTYPHOON, an ultra-fast drying unit for endoscopes, and the PlasmaBAG, a single-use device for active storage with plasma for up to 31 days. One to five minutes (depending on the model of the scope) is all that is needed to completely dry an endoscope. The storage cycle duration is only 5 seconds for all endoscope models. The products deliver superior and efficient performance by significantly reducing endoscope reprocessing cycle times. These innovations minimize the risk of bacterial contamination through a highly effective drying mechanism for the endoscopic channels and active storing of the endoscopes with plasma. The complete drying of the endoscope channels after each cleaning and disinfection cycle of the endoscope prevent also the biofilm creation and increases the endoscope hygiene to ensure patient safety. The PlasmaTYPHOON and PlasmaBAG System also integrates easily into most current endoscope reprocessing protocols.AquaTYPHOON, the new product launched in 2023 follows the unhindered movement to simplify, automize, increase the efficiency and reduce the waste during the reprocessing. AquaTYPHOON system ensure an automated brushless cleaning of all endoscope channels in only 2 to 7 minutes. The process is based on a breakthrough technology using only air and water to effectively remove residues from endoscope channels. AquaTYPHOON system not only automates this reprocessing step, making it simpler, faster and more efficient, but also improves ergonomics, minimizes human errors, significantly reduces the costs, waste generation and water consumption. -
