Greetings all! I am a recent Health Science graduate and former U.S. Marine who has a strong passion for healthcare and science. As such, I continually seek to broaden my knowledge and sharpen my skills in these areas so that one day, I can achieve my goal of positively impacting peoples’ lives as a physician. Throughout the journey, my military service has given me the opportunity to develop significant leadership ability as a Team Leader, while expanding my interpersonal skills through connecting with many amazing people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Additionally, working as a scribe in the emergency department has allowed me to become proficient with medical terminology, ICD-10, EMRs/EHRs, Cerner software, while enhancing my ability to multi-task and stay organized. Undoubtedly, there is still much to learn in this industry for me, and I welcome that as a challenge. Not just to better myself as a healthcare professional, but also to stimulate my perpetual curiosity for knowledge and passion for helping others.
