In August 2015 I relocated to Hong Kong from London to commence my role as the lead transactional lawyer in the APAC region. The transaction types that I supported on the Property & Casualty side of the business included: schemes of transfer for insurance portfolios, mergers & acquisitions as well as economic finality/retrospective & run off solutions. On the life and health side of the business I provided legal support for longevity swaps, in force & new business cash financing transactions, modified co-insurance transactions as well as hybrid capital markets and reinsurance solutions.On the capital markets side, my experience in this role includes reviewing and negotiating security & pledge documentation, credit derivatives, stock lending and repo arrangements as well as investment management mandates.
