Learning happens best when children are having fun. Daniel strongly believes in conducting therapy in a dynamic and holistic manner. Throughout the process of therapy, Daniel actively considers their individual development, innate abilities, interests, home and school environments, and past experiences to help the child grow holistically. He strongly believes in the continuity of therapy at home and at school. Thus, he works very closely with the child’s parents and teachers to ensure optimal and effective therapy that would generalise into the child’s day to day interactions. Daniel has provided therapy across a variety of settings. This includes pre-schools, Primary and Secondary schools, private clinics and in the hospital setting. Daniel has also worked with NTUC First Campus to provide supervision for their Learning Support Educators. As such, Daniel has seen a wide variety of cases and understands that each child is different and is able to adapt different styles to cater to the needs of each child. His vast experience working with children allows him to identify their root difficulties to effectively tackle their areas of difficulty. Being exposed and trained in a variety of approaches, Daniel is well-equipped to manage children with behaviours and regulation needs. Daniel places great value in developing a good rapport with his clients. He is very popular amongst the children and is known for his magic tricks, balloon sculpting and creative play. In addition to his Masters, Daniel has received training in Picture Exchange Communication system (PECs), Relationship Development Intervention (RDI), DIR Floortime, Hanen, TEECH approach, Mediated Learning Experience (MLE) and the Lidcombe Program for stuttering.Areas of clinical specialisation:• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)• Receptive and Expressive Language Development• Articulation/ Phonology/ Speech Development• Dyspraxia and Apraxia of Speech• Global Developmental Delay (GDD)
