• Remediated petrochemical spills in wetlands and industrial areas using oil absorbing boom, as well as manual soil removal.• Responded to and assisted in a hazardous waste spill within a power plant using vacuum trucks and SCBA’s.• Used PID’s to detect soil contamination in residential sites after heating oil spills to better determine the extent of contamination and plan for removal activities.
