I am a highly motivated person that enjoys taking on new challenges. I have an interest in technology andhow it can be used to improve workflow.At university I studied computer science with a focus on networking and software development. In myfinal year I was working in the cyber security lab doing my honours thesis on a platform to teach cybersecurity principals to people of all ages and backgrounds.I have been working in industrial automation, installing & maintaining control systems for a range ofindustries (pulp & paper, power generation and marine). This work has included a range of tasksincluding software development, managing network and endpoint security, mechanical & electricalmaintenance and developing sales leads for the business.When Valmet decided to develop its industrial cyber security business further, I was offered the role ofcyber security specialist for the Asia Pacific region to use my previous education and experience to helpcustomers develop a better security posture as we start to see more threats to industrial control systems.
