I am a male South African and hold an LL B degree, a business management diploma, RE1 and RE5 and have been a KI since 2008 for Cat 1 products.I have almost 20 years’ unbroken insurance management experience of health insurance, short and long term insurance. Main functions have been sales, product development, regulatory compliance, claims, business processes, client servicing, remuneration and incentive structuring, networking at all levels etc. I have also been involved with insurance company start-ups in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Malawi, Lesotho, Swaziland, Ghana, Nigeria and Cameroon on behalf of South African companies. Most recent was Zimbabwe where I assisted with the setting up of an Insurance company, Getsure Life (Zim) Pty Ltd, for a South African company. I oversaw and managed the organisational structuring, regulatory compliance, marketing and sales, budgeting and budget management, the devising and executing of business strategies, identifying market needs and developing responding products, devising and implementing suitable business distribution channels, promoting and maintaining stakeholder relationships and the full implementation of business operating system with all the required functionalities.In short I possess vast experience, knowledge and skills that I believe, would benefit any financial organization.
