CurrentCrown ERAM (Engineering, Repair, and Manufacturing) is a self-motivated power distribution service organization that provides technical services and support to our customers. As a Reliability Engineer, it is my responsibility to assure the safe and proper operation of our customer's equipment. I currently have experience in performing electrical integrity test on the following types of equipment:* Power Transformers (Oil filled and dry-type) - Transformer Turns Ratio, Insulation Integrity (DAR and PI), Overall PF, Lightning Arresters, Bushing Hot Collar, and Winding Resistance Test * Protective Relays (electromechanical and microprocessor; manufacturers such as: - GE, Westinghouse/ABB, Basler, and SEL relays* Circuit breakers (medium voltage, low voltage, vacuum bottle, etc...)- Insulation Resistance (Megger), Contact Resistance (Ductor), Close/Trip Timing, Vacuum Bottle Integrity, Hi-Pot, and primary/secondary current injection testing of LV trip unitsProjects that I have been involved in with fellow co-workers include, but aren't limited to the following:* Investigative troubleshooting to resolve issues that prevent the proper operation of electrical equipment.* Installation of MTAP2 boards to allow motor division to safely capture data for online motor testing* Installation and data analysis of power quality analyzer equipment of data captured from Fluke 1750 power system monitor* Cubicle and equipment upgrade/retrofit projects* Upgrade protective relay equipment from electromechanical relays to a microprocessor relay* Installation of Arc Flash Remediation equipment to decrease arc flash hazard to "danger" equipment rating and decrease risk to people and equipmentMy experiences with Crown ERAM has allowed me to grow by becoming more familiar with industrial power systems. The wide range of services we provide allows for great opportunity to strengthen many important skills sets and continue to grow professionally.
