 Business negotiation: Conducted market research and competitive analysis, and found the potential logs yards, conducted business negotiations with Savannah log yards, global freight forwarders, local customs and other related stakeholders, confirmed contract terms and service scope, and led the completeness of the establishment of supply chain management process and main workflow between Savannah and Vancouver. Product planning: Gathered the requirements and the feedbacks from the log yards and the customers regarding the Woodtrader APP, completed the product design and the business process design with the team, controlled the product quality and tracked the product operations, and smoothly promoted the publish of Woodtrader APP in App Store which had been downloaded from the buyers from 24 countries around the world, and successfully attracted about 100,000 potential small-sized and medium-sized prospective customers and 200 large-sized stable customers in the global market. Project management: Responsible for project feasibility research, risk identification, product design demonstration, profit evaluation, work distribution, resource acquisition, quality and schedule control, business negotiation, etc., to facilitate the smooth development of the logs supply chain project which worth USD$12 million, and realized a 300% increase in the throughput capacity of log inventory management in logs reloading yards. The successful model of this project had been widely replicated among the company’s reloading yards in the major ports of United States and Canada within 2 years, which greatly improved the efficiency of inventory operations and the throughput rate of timber exports for all the reloading yards. As a result, the company was ranked as one of the Top 500 fastest-growing companies in Canada by Maclean's Magazine for three consecutive years from 2017 to 2019.
