Providing both general IT support and specific programming knowledge to assist the company practice law.I have been using my knowledge of programing practices to develop the case management system, building precidents and workflows to streamline and standardise proccedures and corrospondance.With my background in reports, I have been able to improve existing reports and design new, more complex ones to the benefit of Greenhalgh Kerr and their clients.As I lack any real IT technician experience, I have been learning this on the job and Greenhalgh Kerr have been very open to me expanding my knowledge and improving my skills. Since starting the role, I have gained many IT based responsibilities which have greatly increased my ability to assist with issues the end users have.I have implemented and assist with running a ticket-based helpdesk as well as liaising with our external IT support, now being the primary point of contact for all IT issues.

After a long time working with Pontins as a member of the sales team, I transitioned into a software development role after showcasing my abilities creating SQL queries and PHP reports.Most of this time was spent developing several C# based programs which were being used by end users as complaint case management systems, stock control for the various holiday locations, and admin tools for the sales team.I also continued to develop PHP reports which connected to a database using SQL, helping to refine and streamline reporting so that information could quickly be gathered on several key points of interest which allowed management to make decisions based on real time data.I also continued keeping the internal website up to date which was used as a knowledge base for the sales team as well as some light internal communication between staff who did not have access to work emails.

The first few years were spent in inbound phone sales selling family holidays, special events, and adult only breaks for six holiday parks.After showcasing organisational skills by designing several spreadsheets which were then used by many of the other advisors, I was moved into an admin role and was tasked with making larger group bookings as well as bookings that came through from coach companies and online third parties.During this time, I designed and maintained an internal intranet with staff information as well as a internal communication system for employees who did not have access to staff emails.Part of the admin role also included stock control for the six parks, balancing levels for the 3500 apartments, making changes to bed layouts, making sure no overselling occurred, and resolving issues relating to out of order apartments.I also started building reports using a combination of SQL and PHP which I used in my roles.
