Current• Recruiting and hiring Part Time staff during the year to test voting equipment and resolve any issues.• In charge of Schedule for Part Time staff. Tasks involving Ballot Organization, Test Deck Creation, Machine Testing, Machine Shipping, Machine Maintenance. •Driving county vehicles to deliver voting materials such as machines, paper, ballots, and any other materials.• Training technicians to operate equipment, inspect parts of machine, instructions for opening and closing procedures.•Testing all voting Machines for the 60 County Election Districts, making the proper flash drives to operate the Voting Machines during quarterly maintenance, pre-qualification testing, and election day.•Distributing Voting Machines and materials based on voter population, location, and any other needs.•Keeping track of Poll site information for all 60 Election Districts. Information that includes location, pictures, and inventory•Visiting Poll site locations and making proper measurements of the room for the path of travel for the voters. Using Word making an online diagram which maps the layout of the floor plan to help the technicians and poll workers set up the rooms on election day.•Inspection of Poll sites for present and future elections. Making sure the proper measurements are made for the rooms used on Election Day. •Assessing what problems are happening throughout election day and keeping track of machines with single and or multiple issues. Writing reports explaining what the issue was, how the machines failure was processed then solved.•Answering phones to help voters identify various parts of information in Voting Database. Examples include Locating polling site, voter registration status, absentee mail status, etc.•ADA Poll Site Set up- Visiting Poll Sites and ensuring that parking is available for handicapped voters. This includes checking for adequate length of the spaces, proper signage, accessible ramps and curve cut.
