Recreation Supervisor I (Aquatics Programming)
CurrentParks, Recreation, and Open Space supervisor for programming in aquatics at the Louisville Recreation and Senior Center. American Red Cross administrator for training partnership agreement. Responsible for hiring, training, and upkeep of Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor staff as an American Red Cross LGIT and WSIT. Creates and manages department staffing schedule for over 100 part-time employees in 5 different positions between 2 different facilities. Create, publish, schedule and oversee all aquatics programming for the City of Louisville's 7 pools. Highlights include group and private swim lesson program, community First Aid/CPR/AED training, and lifeguard training. Creative lead for special community events in aquatics. Aid pool maintenance technician in preventative maintenance of pools as an NPHTA Certified Pool Operator. Use multimedia and coordinate with marketing team to create and advertise new programs and events to engage community and add value to city environment.
