There seem to be differences which present synergies: Swedes are great system builders - Ericsson, ABB, Volvoetc, and are highly successful in implementing global marketing strategies - IKEA and H&M for example. Israelis are excellent in developing components - companies such as Check Point Software, Comverse Technologies and Amdox are world leaders in important niche markets. So what is the problem - why don't these countries do considerably more business?The main difference is cultural. Shlomo Liran - an Israeli who served as CEO of the Swedish mobile operator "3" - said in an interview that it took him some time to adjust "from a culture of overstatement to a culture of understatement". We believe he summed up THE obstacle for Israeli-Swedish business. This is one of our main added values - an intimate knowledge of both cultures.In the past years we have worked closely with a number of Israeli real estate companies who invest in Swedish property.
