LuMu Interiors is a Design Practice Member of the Design Institute of Australia. It is a multi-discipline design practice with an extensive portfolio of interior projects, landscape designs and original artwork. The company has been regularly featured in lifestyle publications as well as in several online platforms and media. The studio’s interior projects include high profile residences, commercial interiors, retail spaces, and hospitality venues. My tenure as fabrications and warhorse manager entailed:- Fabrication of custom made metal, glass and timber furniture.- Refinishing of furniture using bespoke paints and custom finishes.- Installation of mirrors, window furnishings and artworks.- Commissioning custom made artworks for clients and designers.- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution (local and international) and maintenance operations.- Manage stock control of incoming goods from containers or wholesale suppliers.- Liaise with wholesalers and suppliers regarding stock as well as with client, artists and designers on installations, artworks, commissions or custom-made furniture.- Oversee contractors hired to complete out-serviced tasks.- Manage on site operations at the culmination of the design phase to ensure design schematics translates into on site installations.

- Measured, fabricated and installed shower screens, splash-backs, mirrors and bathroomfittings.- Drove the marketing and sales related to the business.- Visited and negotiated contracts with overseas suppliers.- Conducted quality assurance checks at countries of origin prior to container departure.- Imported glass from overseas in accordance with Australian standards and customsregulations.- Created and implemented bathroom designs in accordance with client’s needs.- Subcontracted for major companies and at construction sites.- Oversaw receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.- Managed customer relations and ensured a high standard of customer service.- Maintained standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.- Liaised with wholesalers and suppliers regarding stock updates

- Represented the company installing shower screens, robe doors, mirrors and built-ins in both commercial (Meriton/Lendlease) and residential settings.- Liaised with clients regarding their requirements and worked with other on-site trades to overcome any on site issues that may arise before, during and after installation.- Measured and quoted for residential projects.- Answered any technical issues that clients may have regarding the product.
