Led multiple proof of concepts to prove go-forward platforms and gain business support. Plan built around analyzing current run costs e2e for MDM within HPE with case for investment centered around dollar benefit of asset reduction, reduced run the business cost and simplified processes. Multi-year estimates and roadmap generated for these efforts.

Defined and delivered global technical and design strategy for Product Data Management space with a focus on creating solutions that could plug and play across multiple SAP platforms via flexible, scalable and highly configurable capability.Led PDM technical and analyst efforts across 25+ projects delivering robust solutions on time and within budget. Included project work on mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing, regulatory and compliance, asset retirements, platform upgrades and overall business innovation.

Included extensive work with SAP Material Master, Bill of Material and complex Variant Configuration data. Design and development of user productivity tools, interfaces, data load tools, user exits and new data models. Key accomplishment was in support of the HP, Compaq merger. Dan led the effort to map and migrate all Compaq product and variant configuration data across 4 HP SAP platforms supporting AMS, EMEA and APJ.
