Combining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc Mech Eng) with a vocational diploma (Red Seal) in Tool, Jig, and Die Making, I have cultivated a diverse skill set to excel as a Tooling Design Engineer. During my formative years as a tool maker apprentice, I immersed myself in the intricacies of precision engineering and tool manufacturing, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. My proficiency in SolidWorks and Fusion 360 for 3D CAD, complemented by exposure to Ansys Simulation, machine design, and C & C# programming, underscores my technological abilities. Moreover, my expertise extends to CNC programming and CNC machine design, including the creation of a high-precision CNC machine during my university tenure. In my current capacity as a Tooling Design Engineer specializing in Body-In-White and Assembly Automotive Tooling, I conceptualize, design, and optimize tools crucial for automotive body construction and assembly processes. My contributions enhance production line efficiency and precision, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications. My primary objective is to leverage my comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering principles, acquired through a blend of academic rigor and vocational training, to make impactful contributions to the world of tooling engineering and manufacturing. Fueled by a passion for continuous learning, I am eager to channel my accumulated knowledge into pioneering mechanical engineering projects, driving innovation and excellence in the field.
