Having left school at 15, I joined ERF at their Manchester depot as a parts apprentice with REMIT. I did a 3 year apprenticeship studying at Stoke collage. I attended 5 x 2 week blocks for 2 years and the 3rd year being done in the workplace. After completion of my apprenticeship I gained a City and Guilds NVQ level 2 & 3 in HGV parts distribution and supply. I worked at ERF Manchester up unit the company was acquired by MAN Truck and Bus UK ltd. at this time I left and had went to work for Aquila Truck Centres in Salford, I worked there as a parts advisor up until the company closed the Salford site.I moved back to MAN Mancheser in Trafford park and have been there since as a parts sales advisor.
