Substation Supervisory Engineer
CurrentSite Representative for 13 Substation locations across the South West for stake holders on large schemes across the team such as Site upgrades and connections, Grid Park connections, Customer Connections such as Solar and Battery Farms, ‘Non Operational’ site surveys such as TOPO, Ground Investigations and non-intrusive animal surveys, Flood defence Schemes, Plant Status Surveys and building repairsManaging and developing a team of 15 staff to maintain, operate and monitor 132kV, 275kV and 400kV Substations, Cables and associated Plant Undertaking planning co-ordination for current year and year ahead maintenance and routine policies of all HV, LV, Mechanical and non-operational assets Performing full HV SAP duties, assessing contractor RAMS and providing Safety from the System during work on National Grid sitesAMBP 120 Audits across team sites and completing AMBP 120 audit actions from others found across my sites such as OM and Safety Representatives.AMBP 300 documentation along with yearly reviews to make sure all sites are complaint with the latest policies and procedures. Creating and reviewing Cat 2 and Cat 3 RAMSEnacting role of OM for the Southwest Severn Team as required.Involved with IMS investigation reports and closures. Undertaking management of site routines and site defects across the SW Severn Team
