As the Library Director at Divine Word College, I lead and manage the library and information services for a diverse and multicultural student body and faculty. I have over eight years of experience in this role, and over twenty years of experience as a professional librarian. I hold a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree and a Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language (TESOL) certificate.My core competencies include information literacy, cultural relations, teacher training, and program development. I am passionate about providing equal access to information technology for all library users, and I have implemented several initiatives to enhance the digital literacy and language skills of the college community. I also teach information literacy courses and workshops, and I have presented my work at various conferences and events. My professional and personal mission is to foster cross-cultural and intercultural understanding and communication through library and education services.
