As a consultant, I have provided strategic advice, human resource training and project management to First Nations, non-governmental organizations, labour unions, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, a national media company and other clients. My writing for the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA) has included chapters in the Alternative.

With the AFN – the national political representative organization for 633 First Nation communities across Canada – I identified and recommended positions on national issues to its political leadership and led teams to implement their decisions. My responsibilities included leading public education and awareness campaigns such as the National Days of Action.

At CIC, I directly managed 40 staff and was accountable for the effective management of programs and financial resources of $120 million at over 80 locations internationally. I negotiated joint policy and resource allocations with international and domestic stakeholder organizations and other government departments. I also wrote Departmental Performance.
