I also give support overseas in quality problems related to the steering system for a global truck product and other minor problems related to the manufacturing of the vehicles using the Protus Volvo system. * Review and release product structure in KOLA according to project planning * Conduct CAD packaging studies using Creo * Follow up FEA analysis in order to assure parts resistance according to Volvo Standards * Release 3D models and drawings * Analyze and approve supplier 3D data within local team experts * Development of sheet metal prototype and manufacturing follow up with suppliers * Plan activities with BSVC team using Agile methodology * Solve manufacturing complains from GTO using Protus Volvo system. Responsible for attending the needs of Jacto engineers working on the development and drawing creation of sheet metal parts, cast parts, machined parts, welded sets, plastic parts and drawings. Working tools were software Creo (CAD), Windchill (PLM) and SAP. During the period I worked for Tecpron, I had the opportunity to show some skills not related to engineer as listed. * Highlight 1 – Development of a process to upload CAD documents at SAP that reduced the working time from one day to some hours.* Highlight 2 – Management of a standardization process of the software version and improved way of work in order to reduce the time needed for drawing creation. * Highlight 3 – Jacto continuous improvement team wanted to manually update more than 6 thousand parts (fasteners, washers etc.) in SAP using excel as database. Due to that, I’ve started studying how to code in VBA. It took me near a month of study before being confident enough to make a proposal for the team with a promise of a huge amount of time gain. The second part of the work, after reviewing all information in excel, was to ask IT to release the use of macros in SAP, they approved my work and we could finish the parts update in a couple months.
