Daniel (Dan) A. Witcher is a senior level, professional Civil / Structural Engineer with over 35 highly productive years in organizing and managing functions in all phases of design, project management, and product development and utilization. He has extensive experience as a design engineer in incorporating client specifications into fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composites and as an engineering manager both in manufacturing and with a multi-national engineering consulting firm. Additional experience includes site construction of large petro-chemical fossil fueled systems and design and construction expert witness. Possessing both technical understanding and articulate presentation skills, he has supervised and mentored in teamwork settings structural and civil engineers, designers, structural detailers, and project managers in various industries and workplace environments and has co-authored FRP codes and standards. Dan offers senior level consultation, technical, commercial and forensic expertise in structural design, fabrication and construction in general including the design and use of fiber reinforced polymer (plastic) (FRP) systems in specific projects utilizing this unique, yet complex material. In addition to the above described professional activities, Dan along with his brother, are the two co-members of a limited liability corporation that owns and manages residential developments and rental properties in the Bristol, TN area.
